U12 District Player Development Program

2017 Program Overview

The TSA U12 District Player Development Program is a program for players born in 2005, operated by the District Association under the guidance of District Program Head Coaches, Carolyn McCaughey (Girls), and Volen Paraschkevov (Boys) and their coaching staff.

The program is designed to supplement the development offered by our member clubs, and to offer selected players additional development opportunities through regular sessions with our coaching staff. Coaches within the TSA District program are required to have a minimum Pre-B (CLicence) certification, with the present coaching staff all exceeding this level.

The program is available to players U12 and younger, who play with a club team within our District (outside the OPDL stream), and who are identified and selected to participate.

The program will operate every Friday on a weekly basis during the indoor season (Nov- Apr), and again weekly for the outdoor season (May-Sept). Click here for a list of the Outdoor Program dates. There will also be a development camp held for a week in mid August. During the summer months, our U12 District squads will play exhibition games against neighbouring Districts, including Durham SA, Scarborough SA and Niagara SA.

Outdoor Program

The outdoor program will commence Friday May 26th, 2017 and will continue on a weekly basis until Sept 29th, 2017, at Eglinton Flats, Field 12. Each gender squad will receive a 90 minute development session each week.

All schedule information will be communicated through Teamsnap. Players will be added to the Teamsnap site, once registration is complete.
